The Market Hall

Roger Dunton officially opened the new hall on December 4th 1993, though a re-launch of the Retail Market by Ken Morley (Coronation Street's Reg Holdsworth) took place on October 30th 1993. The new hall boasted things like heating, air conditioning and background music, with a lift to the first floor where there is a storage area and a meeting room and office. While the original plan was for 84 stalls, the stalls today number around 60. If you arrive in Harborough by coach, you will end up here, as the area in front of the building serves as the Bus Station.
The market is open on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. There is also an Antiques Fair every Sunday, and special annual Garden Show every August Bank Holiday Monday.
